Peel Away Ads – Effective or not?
Well the hype has started to die down so now we can take a look at Peel Away Ads. After all the key to any new product is does it create measurable results.
First they definitely create curiousity and allow you to make a special offer. Use a compelling offer (like a discount) and they do increase conversions. They allow you to add a second discount sales page and on that page there is a nice reminder that keeps telling them what the discount is as they scroll down the page.
On the page that I have tested the conversion more than doubled. More important though it can be used to get a subscriber without interrupting your sales process. I used it on one and it beat out the hover pop I was using 3 to 1.
The page I tested generated 10 extra sales at $27 or $270 extra from the same traffic. So in one week this made me $233 or over 6 times my investment. The extra subscribers from the other page will probably generate that or more.
There are great tutorials that show you exactly how to set it up and make it work. For me I needed to get a new graphic for my offer (Old Bald Guy’s don’t do graphics unless they need to
For me that is a winner.
Anything that increase my sales and can be used for adding subscribers always gets 2 thums up from me.
