Affiliate Marketing 2.0 - Great tips from Ross Goldberg
This one is a tough one to review. Hard to not be a bit biased. I contributed to it with my partner on the podcast at The Mike and Erik Show - Erik Stafford.
I know what the teleseminar tips and podcast information we contributed have done for my bottom line. Those alone would be a good rate of return on the cost of this in my opinion but I am biased ;-).
Fortunately I can be unbiased about the rest of the product. The one tip from Ross where he shows you how he got a 400% increase in his emails was a killer. Some of the blog tips earn me money each and every week.
Affiliate marketing is changing and especially in the internet marketing niche using these cutting edge techniques will make a huge difference in your income. Now some of them do take that w word that a lot of marketers avoid (work).
Most of those are one time items that will pay off time and time again.
If you are looking to improve your affiliate marketing efforts this will be a good investment if you don’t mind a bit of effort. If you are looking for a big red button to push - then avoid this and spend your money on lottery tickets. You will have a better chance, not a good one but better as this will take some action on your part.

Peel Away Ads - Effective or not?
Well the hype has started to die down so now we can take a look at Peel Away Ads. After all the key to any new product is does it create measurable results.
First they definitely create curiousity and allow you to make a special offer. Use a compelling offer (like a discount) and they do increase conversions. They allow you to add a second discount sales page and on that page there is a nice reminder that keeps telling them what the discount is as they scroll down the page.
On the page that I have tested the conversion more than doubled. More important though it can be used to get a subscriber without interrupting your sales process. I used it on one and it beat out the hover pop I was using 3 to 1.
The page I tested generated 10 extra sales at $27 or $270 extra from the same traffic. So in one week this made me $233 or over 6 times my investment. The extra subscribers from the other page will probably generate that or more.
There are great tutorials that show you exactly how to set it up and make it work. For me I needed to get a new graphic for my offer (Old Bald Guy’s don’t do graphics unless they need to
For me that is a winner.

Discover Cpanel - Getting Better
Discover CPanel was launched by Bob Jenkins and Chris Morris. They provided two free videos on CPanel and the opportunity to upgrade to see the rest of their videos.
The quality of the instruction and the videos are excellent. When they first launched it looked like an okay product. Great instruction for a new person to understand and use CPanel.
Then they took it up a notch. They added a series of videos that show you exactly how to take a resell rights pack (you know the kind cluttering your hard drive)and get up and usable on line.
Everything from unzipping it, editing the names etc. and adding a Paypal button.
Now for experienced marketers you may be sitting there shaking your head and saying so what?
Well I may be Old and Bald but I do remember when I first tried to do this. Many hours later I actually accomplished it. Something like this I might have given my right arm for (especially about 2 hours in when I was beating my head against the desk).
I have added a sample video below so you can judge the quality but if you aren’t familiar with CPanel and want to save a lot of aggravation this is a must have.
They will even give you one free.
For experienced webmasters don’t even look you know this stuff. New and want to avoid aggravation or have a bunch of resell clutter grab it quick.

Viral Marketing Black Book - Good or bad?
Just finished reading Stanley Tang’s Viral Marketing Black Book. Overall it was a good read.
Now I will warn you though that it starts very slow and basic. For me that was a negative but for someone brand new that is actually an advantage. If you don’t understand the basics of viral marketing some of the more advanced tips will not make any sense.
Once you get past the initial sections and grasp the basics there are quite a few good tips in there and a few easy ways that I have missed in the past. This will improve the spread of ideas if you use these twists and that is the key to making viral marketing work.
Pay particular attention to the section on using email as a viral tool. That really set the ideas going for me. Tend to think much more towards using lists and not how you can spread things virally through regular email. Big mistake for me.
I did disagree with his choices of blogging platforms ( I prefer to host my own) but the blogging section had some good tips on using it for viral marketing.
Over all if you are relatively new this will get 5 stars from me and if you apply it will provide a good rate of return relative to the cost.
If you have been using viral ebooks and videos you will still find some things that will set you to looking at different twists that can really improve your results and for that reason it is still probably wothwhile although may ony be 3-1/2 starts for you. Your rate of return will really depend on how well you already think out of the box. For me it was good as I tend to think straight ahead but if you already think out of the box it may not have the value for you that it did for me.

No Rating15 K in 7 days - Does it work?
Brian Edmondson just released a new product today - 15 K in 7 Days. The title refers to what he personally did as an affiliate in sales for the Butterfly Marketing launch last year. This got him in the top 20 of all affiliates.
The part that stunned people was that he was an unknown before that launch (except to his subscribers) and more importantly that he did it with a list of 1286. That is not a typo. One thousand two hundred and eighty six subscribers. (I typed it out so you would know I wasn’t having an old and bald moment.)
Now the new product is the transcripts and recording of a teleseminar he did with Tellman Knudsen. Tellman grilled him to find out exactly how he got those kind of results from such a small list. (Understanadably as he did better than a number of better known marketers with list ten or more times larger.)
Now as this is a brand new product but it was available as a bonus in a high priced package that Brian had sold and I bought. I have been using the techniques he talks about for many months and they have helped increase the return I get many times.
Have I made 15k in 7 days on a promotion - NO. Can you - MAYBE but only if you apply everything.
Can this report improve your list building and the response you get from your list? ABSOLUTELY - but only if you actually apply the techniques.

Web 2.0 Traffic Hurricane - free traffic to your site
I have been using some of the techniques that Ross Goldberg recommends for a while now. I have had Ross on a teleseminar and the one thing I know is that his techniques work well.
Here is an example. Sunday I launched a new product in fact my quite biased review is in the next post down ;-). Well with the techniques I have implemented one of my blogs was #1 on Google for the book title in about 2 hours from the time the post was made.
Now Web 2.0 Traffic Hurricane is the best source of implementing all of the Web 2.0 techniques in one place. More importantly, Ross will show you how to properly link all of them to generate traffic to any site you want.
He covers all of the types in one place.

There are scripts to maximize the usage, videos to show you step by step how to do it and all at a price that in my opinion is way too low.
See I was lucky and as Ross is a friend so I have been testing these and when he told me the price I thought he was nuts. Not sure how long he will keep it at this price point so I would definitely recommend that you check it out at once.
It really doesn’t matter if you are into Adsense, affiliate marketing or selling your own product. You need traffic and what Ross teaches will get you more traffic.

Beginners List Formula - Key to building a profitable list
Okay right off the bat. This can’t possibly be an unbiased review. I do try and only recommend products and services that I use and to point out any little downfalls in them so you get an honest review. Well can’t do that today as I created this and if I found what I thought to be a flaw I fixed it. Did I get them all probably not.
However, if you are looking to build a list this is a great primer and it will also show you the little things that will allow you to monetize all the steps.
Once you have the monetization in place you can afford to spend more and really build your list quicker. That is the key to leverage your efforts.
I priced at an affordable price so that anyone that is serious can access the information for less than $10. Instant Article Wizard - Great time saver
If you use articles to market and you should be, this is a great time and money saver.
I have used PLR articles and rewritten them for ages. This tool will cut down both my time and expense in creating articles.
It is easy to use and actually can be a great idea generator if you use it properly. Put in your keyword and it will sort content for that word and create the subtopics. Occasionally the subtopics have shown me areas I didn’t even consider in certain niches.
If you use articles in your marketing than this will give you a great ROI.
If you are not using articles then this is not for you.

Instant Squeeze Page Generator - Easy and free
For quite a while I have understood and taught that building your list is the main thing that you need to do first. I did not do that for the first 2 years I tried to build a business online and one of the reasons was not understanding how to create the system.
To have a successful list building campaign you need to create a squeeze page or lead capture page. You really need a good reason for someone to give you their email. Usually this is some kind of ethical bribe such as a free book, a free course or free piece of software.
Now the newer marketer may not have the skills to create the report, create the actual page and host it. This is why despite knowing that building a list is important people just don’t or can’t do it.

Niche Empire Generator - A tool for Word Press and more
I nave been beta testing this and managed to get in on the action and I have to say this thing is pretty hot…
At its essence its a wordpress site generator. It allows you to easily make and customize a powerful wordpress blog niche site, the same kind that Andrew talked about in his last report, Niche Marketing On Crack.
If you haven’t seen the sales letter yet, Andrew’s got some pretty great testimonials from people who have had success making these kind of blogs… One lady did $800 in her first month, another guy did $250 in his first couple of weeks etc There is no question that these blogs work.
The thing is that all those great results were from BEFORE this software was available and it took people days to make niche sites like that. With Niche Empire Generator it can take as little as 5 minutes to crank out a site that powerful.
You can load posts up to be made at a date in the future. This means you can get updated content on your sites for weeks even months to come without the use of crappy scraped content from RSS feeds and WITHOUT the use of crons.

All in all a great piece of software whether you use the Niche Marketing On Crack techniques or just want to use it for maintaining your own Word Press blogs.
