There are many ways to build a business online. None are perfect for everyone. Each of us has certain skills that we come online with. If you are a writer here is one that you may want to consider.

The main pdf was an easy read, (not a surprise from an experienced writer), and quite humorous at times. Makes it easy to go through and far from being a dry how to.

It is a well laid out plan for creating your own PLR business. There was a surprise though.

Enough from you today oh evil one. I have no desire to become a PLR provider. I like being an affiliate for quality PLR providers and I love using quality PLR.

So when I found that there was enough marketing information interwoven into the book to make it worth while for anyone I was a bit surprised.

The section on researching competitors and creating your unique selling propositions are applicable for any business. Add in the area on researching topics and it is a great guide for a blogger like me for finding topics.

So despite being targeted towards creating your own PLR site and writing PLR, it is valuable enough for anyone that uses content marketing. So if you are a blogger, an article marketer or Web2.0 site maven there is a lot of quality information in here for you too.

The 4 checklists are easily adapted to any content marketer too.

So whether you are looking to create a PLR site or just a content marketer like me this is a valuable tool to add to you arsenal. At less than $20 a great investment in your marketing education.

Before I start a couple of questions to you my reader.

Really getting tired of seeing a new software every time I open my email box. Now I am not anti-software. WordPress is software that I use all the time although it is free.

I use other software to power things like membership scripts, tracking software, email software, affiliate software and even a variety of other software to do specific tasks.

Software can be very powerful and help you in a lot of different ways but…

I know, I know….

I am sure that you do but it is all of the magic button software that are being offered that get to me.

Me too. They always promise me what I want – Instant No WORK Riches. Yes I really want that and that is why they target me.

If only they worked and weren’t looking at secret loop holes.

See software that automates something to allow you to add to what you already do can be powerful.

You need a basic business plan first. You need to have a model that you have working for the software to be helpful. When you can improve what you are already doing with a specific piece of software that is a good thing.

I like the instant thing sorry. Guess I am just lazy.

Not sure it is laziness for most. People just don’t understand that the easy button needs to be created. You can’t buy one and you need to understand what your business model is.

Understand that and then you can make a decision as to what software will help you. Software can be a great way to improve your business but only if it is the right software.

So next time you see one of these software offers look at how it fits your business. Then you can avoid wasting time and effort on the latest, greatest big red button.
